I finally had a chance to sit down and add another entry to my sketch pad journal. Last night while I was on the beach with some friends, I was inspired by the view of nearby islands and far away mountains. Here is a sketch of the scene.

About the Artist
Johanna Kendall studied fine art at the University of Victoria and the Victoria College of Art. Her love of animals and interest in the environment are reflected in her art. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of British Columbia. Johanna lives on Bowen Island in BC with her husband, her toddler, and her German shepherd, Freda.
